In the moonlight a shimmer

of anemone flowers wash ashore

settling among pearls of sand.

Gossamer  beams spill down

where there is no need for words below

a sky  of  muted stars  driven to be near

We are the sigh of winds

Echoing  over high cliffs cascading from from  murky walls of caves and back again

Tethered to nothing we are

free of burden,  golden sand enticing the

current through ancient reefs,

released forever back to the sea.

    1. Thank you so much. I’m very delighted and honored but I have previously been nominated for this award and have since decided to let others enjoy the honor. Please know I am so very grateful for your generousity.

  2. Your words move me, as the moon moves the tides. I cannot & will not resist.
(Holly, I am on page 136 of your book. I read a few every day. If I read too, many at once, the sensual nature is lost in the gluttony of reading your words. Excellent poetry!)

    1. Thank you Resa, I must apologize for the condition of my ebook, it has been up nearly four years, some poems have been lost, probably in the downloading process. I also see some repetitions and lost images. I really need to clean that up but not today.
Thank you so much for enduring the mess. You are fantastic. ❤

  5. Simply a divinely beautiful tapestry of poetic description. The picture was like it wasn’t needed as I floated on the waves and visualized shimmering, gossamer and cascading creatures, coral reefs and water which is all surrounding in a sensual massage upon our souls.
