My blog has been hacked again.  I will be changing it to a pass worded site.

    1. Thank you Paul, I am in discussion now with WP to uncover the culprit. Fortunately there is nothing here to be overly concerned with other than the interception of messages and the sending out of messages, but I haven’t noticed that. x

  1. even though I dont blog much except to visit, I am hoping you will give me a password. . .
I miss my blogging friends but not the writing, Holly!
I am blessed to have been able to leave the warehouse and start assisting my youngest daughter, Felicia in her real estate business. It was long overdue! Ten years took a toll out of my muscles and energy level.
But, not all is fantastic on the home and family front. My 12 year old grandson is in Children’s Hospital in Columbus with a mass leaning on his spine that extends to his ear. I am asking my best friends to keep sending positive energy out into the universe and hopefully, this is going to all turn out fine. He was there from Sat- today in the area of serious concerns, had a bone marrow testing along with PET, CT scans and bloodwork. Today, they moved him up to the 12th floor: Oncology. So far, he thinks they are going to “fix his headaches.” I am helping with grandkids after school and their dog walking. . .
big hugs and kisses for you, Holly! ❤

      1. Holly dear, you were getting hacked and having your own emotional situation so I really appreciate how you were responding to my news.
I am so glad and hopeful Landen has been strong and hopeful. The hospital has been very vigilant. I’m surprised he will need to go to Pennsylvania for his chemo treatments, since Ohio has some great hospitals here. . .
I am much happier in my daily life working with Felicia. She is a light and her caring energy towards those who are looking for homes shines in her way of continuing to be part of their lives. Birthdays, going to their churches and stopping by to see her clients is a weekly effort she makes. I am proud it is “not all about the money.” Hugs and love sent back your way. . . Thank you, Holly! 💕

      1. It is enjoyable and a good way to expand my mind, Holly. Funny thing, doors are always on my mind while looking at houses in our daily real estate lives. Closing door on the warehouse was the best thing I could do for me.
Hope all is well with you and your loved ones, Holly. 🤗
Just need to see Landen feel better and am praying for his type of cancer (Ewing’s Sarcoma) to be cured in him.

        1. I’m fascinated by doors too Robin, some are so beautifully inviting for scary as heck. I am praying for Landen. I was reading on this type of Sarcoma, It makes me angry when kids get sick, I just can’t accept it. Be strong dear lady, I’m glad you have a strong family for you and your grandson and that you will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel. ❤

  2. Oh, Holly. I can’t believe it happened again. I hope you find out who did it and can do something to him/her about it. What a terrible thing. I don’t know what you’re going to do but hurry back. ❤ ❤ I'm so sorry.

  3. Getting hacked sucks, happened to me too. Not sure if I managed to lock my creeper out by beefing up security, or whether they just got bored and wandered off. Hope you get through it okay, and don’t let the violation get to you and abandon your blog for six months like I did. ❤

  4. I can’t believe this happened again! I’m so sorry Holly. I hope you can expose the person responsible and stop the madness! If you do go private, keep me in mind. I’d love to stay in touch and keep reading your wonderful work. ❤️❤️

  5. What I would do is get your own domain then redirect subscribers to it from wordpress.com. Also make sure you have an ssl certificate, it will show the green icon lock in browser. Setting a password before comment is a hassle it will not change the fact that a hacker can still post in your blog if they want. It is a nightmare when your hacked I have been through it. The above information I hope will help you.

  6. Oh wow how awful that someone did this again to you. I think turning on the password is a great idea. I’m happy you were able to gain control and stop this. Also change your passwords every where. I had to do that when an email was hacked. Thinking of you ❤

          1. It’s good you received notice this time. Hopefully they’re catching more suspicious activity for all of us – or is that just for those who “own” their own site? So far (seven years) I haven’t felt the need to pay for my own blog but maybe they’re more secure.

          2. I don’t know either. Have heard the customer service is better. But – although they’re supposedly supposed to be ad free, I see ads on them more than anywhere else.
Thanks for this discussion. I’m going to start changing my passwords more often – everywhere!

  7. I am sorry too, Holly! Why they are hacking your blog??? Maybe you should give some information to the WP.com-team. I think they are very interested in how this could happen so often. They can hardening your blog, and its needful for them to. The passwords are stored inside the database, and if someone is able to enter your blog-database, other blogs can be hacked too. Not the best future for the servers of Automattic. Michael

  8. OMG, Holly!! I can’t believe it! So very sorry to hear this! I hope that you add me to the list of those you will allow to view your site! I hope you will not have to go through what you did the last time!

      1. They’re school playground bullies who’ve grown up……………. I guess that’s the only way to process hacker’s actions, I don’t back up apart from my first story, hmm maybe I should. Blogger ‘Skinny and Single’ once commented me (a lol long winding thread) saying she’d be sure someone has copied a blog of mine at some time, plagiarised as they’re own! That sharpened the mind I can tell you………….. but I guess all I can do is accept it happens and be EXTREMELY careful with might be gleaned. As I said ‘finger’s crossed!!!’
