One should let wild horses run. To enjoy their thunder is akin to reading one of your poems.
One should let Holly write wild. Enjoying your words in this poem, is like listening to the thunder of galloping hooves. Still, no periwinkle’s petals were endangered by the unbridled freedom. xoxo
In the old world customs, Periwinkles were used medicinally. However, according to the Urban Dictionary; they take on a whole different meaning. I am sure you didn’t expect your poem to be dissected so clinically. At any rate, I enjoy your poem and the Black Spell.
Steve Hanks perfectly illustrates your poems. I used to love to dig for periwinkles at the edge of the surf. Their little shells were like multicolored gemstones. Ah, but that’s a different story entirely. Your’s was much better.
Enchanted, as always

He’s so good, sometimes I think he’s a photographer instead of a painter. And, you are most welcome. My pleasure to read.
