We Will Not Be Silenced: The Lived Experience of Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault Told Powerfully Through Poetry, Prose, Essay, and Art is the brainchild of Kindra M. Austin, Candice Louisa Daquin, Rachel Finch, and Christine E. Ray. The four indie writers and survivors felt compelled to do something after the strongly triggering Kavanaugh Confirmation Hearings. brilliantly done on being included in this much necessary anthology – the struggle against misogyny and hetero-patriarchy continues as does the struggle against gender-based violence.

      1. All Power to the brave resistance, my respected sister!

We shall not pull down the barricades.

We shall not allow divisiveness to infect us.

We shall not turn our heads and remain silent.

        We shall always speak out.

We shall always be there for each other.

We shall overcome with the sheer force of our worldwide united stand that will make the misogynists and molesters and abusers be exposed and hauled into justice systems that MUST have new laws incorporated into them to send a clear message to the abusers – you WILL NOT get away. The tide has turned and you will be held accountable for your obscene actions.

          1. ever so humbled.

there is an old slogan from the 1980s in the struggle against Apartheid …

“NOW that you have touched the women, you have struck a rock. And you will be crushed”

A powerful slogan that appeared on posters at every anti-apartheid rally – so the fire of resistance still burns bright and we WILL assure that it does so
