I offer the Nape of my neck
to the caress of your  blade.
Press  your lips to the arch
of my throat where melodic
songbirds plunge to their death.
Bring  your gallows and knives,
your sword at the ready.
I will  pierce you with serene eyes
as deeply as love will allow.

Well, I wouldn’t think your throat was so inviting as to draw song birds to their death. They are nothing like my hummingbirds apparently. They want to kill any other hummingbird that comes close to their feeders.

  2. The image of this young warrioress looks remarkably familiar, and her words, the maiden’s hand on a horn of ale before the warrior. Here is a woman whose allure defies the sword and shield, the mail and helm to conquer the heart. I love this one, Alexandra loves this one.

      1. You are so welcome Rene! Yes WP keeps locking me out and then won’t let my essay comments go through, or they go through but it tells me they didn’t. Alexandra is anxious to get on with the story, I think we have a serious of scenes coming up this week end. Lets hope WP doesn’t censor my Revenants.

        1. That would be outrageous! Stunning writing is not that easy to find and they should stop censoring. I don’t see that happening elsewhere. I certainly hope you don’t have any further interference with that fabulous story, I will have to cause a scene.
