  3. Oh oh oh! Did you notice there was a pic of Ariel, the little mermaid, by the shore? I’d know her anywhere. Lovely scenes. Makes me miss the beach. Soon, very soon, I’ll be free to blow out my flip flop on a pop top too.

          3. That lovely fair skin must be protected. It’s too late for me having been toasted a golden brown every summer of my youth. Now, I have to stay in the sun until all the spots grow together into a uni-tan.

          5. I use to think I had to peel the first few layers to bake in the brown really good. Later, I found out that isn’t exactly the right way to do it. It was a proud rite of passage. Everyone knew I was a real Floridian, not just a snowbird. Cool sunglasses, white zinc oxide on the nose, splotchy shoulders, cut off jeans, and flip flops with sandy toes. No one doubted that authenticity. 😎

          7. Thank goodness! When I show up to the beach, I want to make sure I don’t end up on a YouTube Florida Fashion Fail vlog. Geez, how embarassing that would be. But, I’m a flexible fellow. I can get with the proper attire quickly and study the language to make sure I know the proper buzzwords. 😁

          3. It’s been a couple of years for me too, but you’ll be happy to know the bonsai tree nursery on hiway 237 north of Floribama is alive and well last time I drove through.

      1. Thanks Holly.. We have just been so, so, busy redecorating our home.. Not much time for the internet or my blog of late Holly.. I am but tired and ache and was ready for my acupuncture treatment last week lol.. So today is raining and I am resting up a little 🙂 Hence the catching up 🙂

          1. Yes Holly we finished the kitchen and bathroom last week.. Now only the bedrooms to complete and the whole house has had a makeover 😀 I will be thankful when I am not doing so many ‘Step Aerobics’ up and down the step ladder lol 🙂 But we are giving ourselves a couple of weeks break before we start them.. 🙂 Our Minds are willing, but the body tells us different 🙂
